Venue: Bruce Pullman Arena (90 Walters Road, Takanini, Auckland)

Dates/Times: Sat 5 June – 5:30pm-10:30pm; Sun 6 June – 8:00am-6:30pm; Mon 7 June (finals) – 8:00am-1:00pm

Fee: $550 per team

Come and join us for our 50th tournament. God has blessed us with many years of gathering as a church to connect on the basketball court. This year we look forward to celebrating together.

Due to our limited numbers at the venue and being the anniversary of our 50th tournament, each church is restricted to registering three teams across all divisions. Regardless of the grade, a church may only register a maximum of three teams. Any church that attempts to register more than this, won’t be accepted. If you would like to add another team under your church, you may add the name and grade of this team in the “reserve team” section of this registration form. Please note, this does not guarantee your reserved team will be included in the tournament. We will do our best to accommodate all churches and youth groups once registrations close on May 10. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please note that we need a clear photo of the players’ face for their ID. Passport or Driver’s License photos aren’t acceptable, and we won’t be able to confirm a player’s registration until this is complete.

Applications close Monday, 10 May 2021.

Age Limit:  A player must be 16 years or older. All of the SDA Sports Tournaments have an age limit of 16+ for players. This is due to concerns of safety, fairness and legal requirements for duty of care for children playing at this level of competition. Thank you for taking note of this age limit and protecting the standard of our Tournaments. If a team is found to have used an under-16 player, they will forfeit that game and the breech will be reported back to your Church Pastor and/or Youth Leader, which may result in suspensions of future tournaments.

COVID Considerations

We are working hard to run our events safely especially when it comes to Covid-19. To help us do this we ask that you take note of the following:

  • Should you have any cold or flu-like symptoms please do not attend.
  • Conference staff reserve the right to ask any person with cold or flu-like symptoms to leave the event.
  • Please use recommended hygiene practices of hand-washing, sanitising items of high touch, maintaining physical distance (where possible) and using the NZ COVID Tracer app.
  • If NZ is not in Level 1, we will not be able to run the event. A full refund will be made to registered attendees.
