August 22nd saw Carman Connell, Collette Brown (Team Leader) with General Conference Elder Stephen Apola, Sila Faaola and Angela Croft gathered for the Literature Evangelists Summit Meetings. We were all inspired by his special messages to reach out with our literature. Stories were also shared from around NZ and Australia and the Island fields too. What a lovely time of fellowship. Now Carman is ready to get out and share what she has learnt. Lovely to have Angela with us too, my supporter when I collapsed in Nelson! Stephen likes our NZ chocolates! Hope they got home to share with his family.

Susanne Schritt was unable to join us but she sent in this special story – One man said again “Awesome” and was very grateful. There was another man whose name is David. He said I was sent by God to him. He had prayed that morning that he needs some encouragement, and he saw in me that encouragement! I prayed with him 3 times.  He worked in the psychiatry dept, and he shared his wife argues all the time at home. So he had no peace at home and a very difficult workplace. I prayed that satan and his demons were being kept away from them and only God’s angels be there.

Sila has had a much needed rest with family in Australia, this month. The cold in Invercargill proved too much for us ladies, so we had an enforced rest!  Sila loves sharing Jesus with others, so was lovely to see her get a reward for literature shared this last LE year.

When I was being driven to the airport from my car hire place, I said thank you and God bless to my driver. He was delighted to be able to say God bless back to me, and I offered him a book, would he read it then pass it on to someone else”.  His reply was, “I would be delighted to” and accepted my book!  God is there in good as well as not so good times. Thank you for all the prayers going up for David and I.

Praise Him, God, whatever.
