SNZ Big Camp launched the New Year off to a great start at Pascoe Park over 5-11 January. Over 400 people attended Camp throughout the week, with numbers rising to over 700 on Sabbath. Highlights included the shared family events, kids’ activities and programmes, cooking demonstrations, workshops, and the Neville Peter concert on Saturday night.
Each of the department programmes and workshops shared the focus of KNOW LIVE SERVE – equipping us to be disciples who know, live and serve Jesus. This will also be our Conference focus throughout the year as we continue to grow as disciples of Jesus.
Our deepest thanks go out to the large number of staff and volunteers who helped with set-up and pack-down, to the 80 department leaders and volunteers for all their hard work in making Camp a blessing to the attendees, and to all of the wonderful speakers and leaders who joined us from around the world.
Our Lord and Saviour is drawing this hurting world to a close. As His people of hope in these final times, let’s keep making the most of events such as Big Camp to draw closer to Him, learn how to more effectively support each other, and be better equipped to minister to those who need to know Him.
