A bright, sunny Hawke’s Bay day on 24 March attended the East Coast Regional as Conference leaders, the Napier, Hastings and Waipukurau Churches and the Hawke’s Bay Samoan group combined together in worship.  Highlights of the day included fellowship throughout the morning and at a special indoor picnic with new friends and old for adults and children alike; the sharing of special worship items by different groups; being inspired by the mission successes and challenges of our local churches, school, pre-school, HOPE Channel NZ and the wider church; studying the Word with Pr Eddie Tupai and being challenged by a particularly powerful message from our brand new Nth NZ Youth Director, Matt Moore.  The Sabbath began and ended with our local youth celebrating and leading out in the culmination of the Youth Week of Prayer and Matt attending in support.  Here in the Hawke’s Bay, we have not one, but 3-4 regionals per year, meaning that everyone went home knowing we won’t have too long to wait until we have the joy of worshipping as one Hawke’s Bay family again!
