DESCRIPTION:Tarawera Trail\, Rotorua | Ages 13+ \nGet ready for an unforgettable adventure! Teen Expeditionette is a 15km journey along the Tarawera Trail\, winding through stunning native bush and along the lake edge from Te Wairoa to Hot Water Beach Campsite. While it’s a great introduction to tramping\, this is more than a casual walk — you’ll be carrying your own gear and covering a full day’s distance over varied terrain. A reasonable level of fitness is required to safely complete this hike. If you’re up for a rewarding challenge\, keen to build resilience\, and excited to share the experience with friends in the outdoors\, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss. \nSpecialised gear is required\, including a hiking tent\, hiking pack\, well-broken-in ankle-support hiking boots\, and water purification tablets.
