Teens Only (13-16 years old).

Teen Sports Weekend is back again! We want it to be even better with more of our teens to connect, play sports, eat, fellowship, worship, have fun and hang out together. This year teams will play both basketball and volleyball again and along with a few extra surprises for the ultimate Teen Sports Weekend.

Parents and adult helpers welcome!  We love it when parents and adults support our teens.  You can either come along to watch some games or can register to be an adult helper for the weekend.

Leaders & Adult Support Staff

All leaders and adult support staff will need to have completed the following before close of applications. The process could take up to 5 or 6 weeks including the vetting time at Police and the time it takes for the attendee to complete the online training course.

Note: Attendee will need to send the North New Zealand Conference a copy of their certificates before close of applications. Failure to do so will result in their application to attend being cancelled.

How It Works

The Teen Sport Weekend is the ultimate sporting experience for our teens. Not only do you get to play other teens but you get to spend a weekend together eating, worshipping, sleeping, training, and connecting.

Enter as a team or as an individual (and become part of a new team at the weekend).

Weekend Schedule:

One Grade – Mixed Social:

For Teen Sport Weekend, we have ONE grade – Mixed Social. We have found this grade works well to help everyone have fun together. As we continue to grow this teen event, we may look at adding competitive grades and same sex grades in future years.

With Mixed Social, you need at least 2 girls on the court at all times.

  • $110 per teen player
  • $100 per adult helper

This cost includes 2 nights’ accommodation, 6 meals, activities, trophies and prizes, gear, and venue costs.  NOTE – this fee has been subsidised by the Conference & Tui Ridge to keep the cost as low as possible for families and churches.
