Professor Warwick Bagg presented his celebratory inaugural lecture as Professor at the University of Auckland on August 9, 2017. Colleagues, friends and family attended the lecture in support and celebration of his accomplishment. Professor Warwick a member of the Papatoetoe SDA Community Church, is a professor of medicine in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland, appointed as Head of the Medical Programme in 2009. Between 2010 and 2015, Warwick worked with academic and professional staff and students to design and implement the reinvigorated medical programme. In 2015 he was the recipient of the University of Auckland’s Leadership in Teaching Excellence Award for his broad leadership of undergraduate medical education. Warwick’s research interests are in medical education and endocrinology. He works clinically as an endocrinologist.
